Repatriation Visa (KITAS) - What is this visa for?
The Repatriation KITAS (Repatriation Visa) is a temporary stay permit that is intended for use for 1 very specific situation: For Indonesian citizen that have changed their citizenship to another nationality.

If the applicant would like to extend their KITAS, they may consider a Repatriation KITAP (Repatriation Permanent Stay Permit) which has a validity of 5 years.
How to get a Repatriation Visa (KITAS)
1. Application of E-Vitas C318. This visa is used to enter Indonesia.
2. Upon arrival to Indonesia, the foreigner is required to drop the original passport to our office.
3. Attend the Biometric and fingerprint session.
4. E-vitas to KITAS conversion at the local immigration office.
5. KITAS completion the E-KITAS along with multiple entry re-entry permit.
Application Requirements
Sponsor (Father/Mother - choose one)
​1. ID Card (KTP) and family Registration (Kartu Keluarga).​
2. Birth Certificate.
3. Marriage Certificate.​​
Expatriate
​1. Passport with minimum 18 months validity.
2. Copy of Indonesian passport.
3. Birth Certificate.
​4. Previous ID Card (KTP) if the applicant had one.
5. Previous Family Registration (Kartu Keluarga lama orang tua jika pernah tercantum Namanya).
7. Educational Certificate.
8. Digital photograph on a red background.
9. Revocation letter of KTP.
10. A letter of waiver of citizenship from the Ministry of Law Human Rights and the Indonesian Embassy.
11. Stamp of current stay permit with 30 days validity minimum - ONSHORE (Status Changing).
12. Letter of no objection for changing status from current sponsor (if needed) - ONSHORE (Status Changing).​​
