Retirement Visa (KITAS) - What is this visa for?
Retiring on an exotic island surrounded by sun, sea and sand is a dream for many people. Indonesia is a stunning archipelago comprising of thousands of islands all with their very own and charm. Therefore, it is no wonder why every year, people decide to enjoy their retirement years on one if Indonesia's paradise Islands.
How to get a Retirement Visa (KITAS)
1. Provide all documentation relevant to the KITAS and we will verify to ensure a successful application.
2. All documentation will be uploaded to the online immigration system. Once the visa is authorized the applicant will receive an e-visa (Electronic Visa), which they will need to print.
3. The applicant may now enter Indonesia using the E-Visa.
4. Upon arrival to Indonesia, the applicant will need to do a biometric whereby; they take a profile photo, as well as provide fingerprints.
5. The KITAS (Stay Permit) will be issued and given to the applicant within 3 days.
6. Within 14 days of the KITAS issuance, you must register at the Civil Departments, whereby you will obtain your SKSKPS (Certificate of Family Formation of Temporary​​ Residents) and STM (Police Certificate).
Application Requirements
To initiate your Retirement Visa (KITAS) Application, ensure you have the following documents ready:​
1. Passport with minimum 18 months validity.
2. Photograph with red background.
3. Curiculum Vitae (CV).
​4. Life and Health Insurance Policy.
5. Home Lease agreement for at least 1 year(signed by the booth parties, should mention the owner's name, address of the rented house, the amount of the rent and attach the owner's KTP).
6. A Statement/letter to employ an Indonesia maid/helper while living in Indonesia, will not be working / engaging in any business activities, and that you have secured your accommodation .
7. Maid/helper ID card (KTP).
8. Statement of Pension fund according to the type of Retirement KITAS you would like to apply for.
9. Copy of marriage certificate - if married.
